Think About It...

As we navigate this crazy NFT space, now is the time to change your mindset from flipping NFTs for a quick profit to instead investing in true value. Think about what community is behind the project and then consider what that project can unlock for you personally and professionally. Listen to my interview with Drew on how Meta Athletes can provide you value...

A Master Mind Built on Block Chain

Q: What was the thought process behind Meta Athletes as a project?

A: "... we wanted to to cover a few factors for me and Kevin specifically, ... building the project we wish existed & would benefit from. A lot of that came from opportunities and resources to strengthen our mental fitness which is opportunities to strengthen our physical fitness. We were both just obsessed with growth and development as a human. Whether that was in business, whether that was in relationships, we wanted to bring resources both from within our network, people that we have personally used as a mentors or a resource in our lives. It's the Meta Mind, bringing together a networking group, where people want to exist in that networking group. We thought if we brought these people in together and showed them that we could build this community and all these people would benefit, be impacted by their message, and their story or their experience... We could build this Master Mind Built on BlockChain. The Meta Mind is bringing together a networking group where if people want to exit that networking group they have the opportunity to at least gain their finances back or to financially benefit from leaving. That was our process as it grew and really expanded from within Web 3 natives. Coach B is a perfect example of somebody that wasn't on the founding team, but had quickly become somebody that was a trusted resource for myself. A trusted friend and somebody that I'm really excited to be building something for the long term because I feel like he is actually a perfect representation of what we originally thought when we were building. Somebody with a world of experience from both the physical and the mental side. And there's not a lot of people out there like Coach B that have the best of both worlds and having 20 years experience doing so. He embodies it very well..." - Drew Cohen

Helping Holders Win in Life

Q: Meta Athletes seems to be bringing mentors to the table for holders as a resource of utility?

A: "... Since the start, we've had great coaches, great mentors, and people that believe in the brand and the mission that we've enveloped for ourselves, which is essentially to help our holders win in life. That could mean 1,000 different things. The resources and the opportunities that we provide to help some one win in life could be a weekly meditation, it could be showing up and and helping somebody practice. For one, understand the benefits and two, provide that practice for somebody to go on and practice on their own... I think ultimately our goal is to help help our holders win in life and to become the coach/ resource for other people or just continue to motive themselves." - Drew Cohen

True Community Building

Q: Aren't there other platforms that already provide these services and are more established? A difference maker for me is the connection is so much is shorter. Every coach on staff is not far away. You can actually create a personal connection with each one of these mentors and learn so much in the process. It sounds like Meta Athletes sets itself apart in this way...

A: "I think what makes NFTs different and what makes Web3 different than Web2 is you're instantly from the minute you mint or the minute you pick up on secondary, you're instantly connected to the rest of the holder base by some type of shared mission or shared leadership. And that's something that we speak on all the time. What makes a community and what makes a community thrive? Usually one of the first touch points is you know a group of people that come together for a shared mission or have shared leadership. One thing that we foster at Meta Athletes is a strong community. A sign of a strong community is when community members start to care about the well-being of another. With Meta Athletes, we're not focused on driving hype. We're not focused on volume, we're more focused on providing utility that that truly makes a difference in somebody's life... That's how we view community." - Drew Cohen
